A must-see introduction to the SDGs and why they're important at the local, national and international level.
On June 8, Pillar Nonprofit Network, London Community Foundation and community members convened at Innovation Works to learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and explore how they might be localized in our community.
JP Bervoets, Vice President, Community Foundations of Canada, opened the workshop with a high-level overview as to what the UN SDGs are and why they’re important at the local, national and international level.
In this presentation, Bervoets asserts that the SDGs are an attempt at a shared language for measuring impact, an important observation to consider if you're exploring how to report and evaluate your impact in a way that customers and stakeholders alike can meaningfully benchmark and comprehend.
